Hello, I’m Julieanne, photo nerd, petrol head and Pilates teacher, welcome to my world!

My photo adventures started in 1979 when I manned the photo counter at my local Boots store.  Later I moved on to ‘proper’ photo retailing where eventually I was the  manager of a camera shop in Stockport.

Then, just before the dawn of digital imaging, I gave it all up and went to work in the motor trade, I was a parts assistant in a VW dismantlers yard.  Our office was a double decker bus in a yard in Bradford, Manchester, I wore overalls and steel toe cap boots, it was a world away from photo retail.

These days I have a small Pilates business but cars and cameras are still a huge part of my life.
